What's better when travelling with a toddler: a 10-hour direct flight in economy seats or a 14-hour flight, which includes a 2-hour stopover, in premium economy?

Direct all the way!!! Getting off and settled back down can be a nightmare, just imagine that's the moment you finally get the wee one asleep. I've done a 12 hour flight (17 hour travel day) with a 5 month old and 21 month old by myself, there is no way I could have managed getting off a flight and back on. Settle in for the long haul and order a G&T and pray!

Definitely go short and sharp. Kids still scream in premium economy 😁😅😂 I assume it's over night as well ? In which case there's a better chance they'll sleep most of the way.

Short and sharp, absolutely! That stop over means extra take off and landing, extra faff, and all for just a couple of inches of space....
